Adebunmi Gbadebo

b. 1992, Livingston, New Jersey

Adebunmi Gbadebo is a multimedia artist based between Newark and Philadelphia whose work explores ancestry, land, and diasporic memory through ceramics and installation. She received a Pew Fellowship in 2022 and the Maxwell and Hanrahan Craft Fellowship. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the 24th Sydney Biennale and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is held in major public collections throughout the United States.

Melissa Joseph

b. 1980, Pennsylvania, USA

Melissa Joseph is a New York–based artist whose work explores memory, family history, and diasporic identity. Her practice has been exhibited at institutions including the Brooklyn Museum, ICA San FranciscoArtforumCA Arlington, and she is the recipient of the 2025 UOVO Prize. A regular contributor to BOMB Magazine, Joseph’s work has been featured in publications such as Artforum, Vogue, and CNN.

Dario Oleaga

b. 1972, San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic

Darío Oleaga is a Dominican artist based in New York whose layered, mixed media works reflect on memory, place, and the body. Drawing from his rural upbringing and background in photography, he builds textured compositions that blend figuration with abstraction.

Bony Ramirez

b. 1996, Tenares, Salcedo, DR.

Bony Ramirez is a New Jersey-based artist from the Dominican Republic known for works that merge Caribbean themes with European art styles, exploring identity, colonial history, and cultural memory.
