Cattleya
A solo exhibition by Bony Ramirez at the Newark Museum of Art
We managed Bony Ramirez's inaugural museum solo exhibition, "Cattleya," at the Newark Museum of Art. We handled comprehensive communication management and coordinated across various teams involved in photography, media relations, design, curation, and museum operations. Our role included providing crucial support to Ramirez in adhering to project timelines, managing all necessary in-studio archiving, and conducting a year-long research project through the museum's extensive collection.
Throughout the process, we navigated logistical challenges, such as ensuring material conservation and aligning Ramirez's artistic vision with institutional guidelines. These obstacles demanded meticulous negotiation and creative problem-solving to ensure a seamless execution.
The success of "Cattleya" stands as a testament to our collective dedication and collaboration. The exhibition's innovative approach has garnered acclaim from both art critics and the public, significantly enhancing Bony Ramirez's reputation in the art world. This exhibition underscores the Newark Museum of Art's commitment to showcasing cutting-edge contemporary art.
